FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

PROGRAMS/ REGISTRATION

For your convenience, there is a link on victorytest1.wpengine.com to register for our leagues. Otherwise feel free to contact the League Coordinator at info@victorykidsports.org to register by email.

Once you complete your registration, your child is guaranteed to participate in our league.  Your child will be assigned to a team and your schedule will be emailed and posted online approximately one week before the program start date. To access your schedule and coach information look on the calendar and find your team name.

You can expect a safe and secure environment for children that encourages the learning of sportsmanship. We pride ourselves on creating a league that strives on impacting kids through sports.

All athletes will receive a participant award at the end of the season.

All children no matter what their skill level might be are accepted into the program. Each team will be mixed with brand new and experienced players. Every player gets to play every game during the league season.

Our programs run at 8-week and 6-week periods.

All of our leagues are co-ed.

Yes! We encourage athletes to get involved with multiple sports and activities.

If you go to our registration link you will see all of the forms needed to sign up for our leagues.

LEAGUES

Some fields have bleachers, but others do not. Please bring your own chairs.

Yes, you should always bring water and a snack. Team moms can schedule a snack schedule.

EQUIPMENT/ MERCHANDISE

You will receive your child’s t-shirt on the first day of your league.

Soccer– Players may wear shorts or sweats of any type.  All players should wear cleats (must be soccer not baseball) and shin guards.  (Cleats are suggested, but not required)

Basketball– The league provides each player with an official Victory t-shirt that your child gets to keep. Players may wear shorts or sweats of any type, and gym shoes must be worn at all times.

Baseball– The league provides each player with an official Victory t-shirt and hat that your child gets to keep. Players may wear shorts or sweats of any type.  Appropriate footwear include cleats (although not required). Protective cups are recommended. A baseball glove is required.

Cheerleading– The league provides an official Victory t-shirt that your child gets to keep. Cheerleaders may wear shorts or sweats of any type. Appropriate footwear includes sneakers.

Flag Football– The league provides each player with an official Victory t-shirt that your child gets to keep. Players may wear shorts or sweats of any type, as long as they do not have pockets or belt loops, and as long as they are not red. Appropriate footwear includes cleats or sneakers, and players must wear mouthguard at all times.

Wacky Sports– The league provides each player with an official Victory t-shirt that your child gets to keep. Athletes may wear  shorts or sweats of any type. Appropriate footwear includes sneakers.

We do our very best to make up leagues that are canceled, but due to several factors that are out of our control this not always possible.

You will receive an order form with the date from your coach. We will also post it on our calendar.

No. You are not obligated to purchase photos, but you will have the option to purchase them if you choose to do so.
